Q: What surfaces can you refinish?

A: We refinish or resurface bathtubs, sinks, tile, counters, showers, cabinets, etc.

 

Q: What types of surfaces do you refinish?

A: Porcelain, fiberglass, cast iron, acrylic, formica counters, ceramic tile, cultured marble. If any other material, call and ask.

 

Q: How long does the bathtub refinishing process take?

A: Approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on the actual condition of the surface.

 

Q: What types of bathtub repairs can you do?

A: All kinds. We can repair chips, holes, cracks, rust, etc.

 

How long will I be without my bathtub or other surface?

A: After we refinish your bathtub or other surface, you have to wait 24 to 48 hours in order to use it.

 

Q: Are there any offensive odors with refinishing?

A: Any time you have painting done in your home there will be some lingering paint odors for a few days. We minimize these odors by using a sophisticated exhaust system that vents dust and odor to the outside while we work. Some companies use a box fan. That's simply not enough.

 

Q: My bathtub was refinished by someone else and now it is peeling. What happened?

A: More than likely shortcuts were taken during the preparation process. This results in a weak bond between the topcoat and the previous finish. We meticulously prepare the surface so the bond is super strong resulting in years of use. We don't skip steps and use the best premium materials money can buy.

 

Q: My fiberglass bathtub has a crack in it. Can it be repaired?

A: Absolutely. We have several processes to fix fiberglass fixtures. The preferred method matches the severity of the damage. Call us and we'll listen to your needs and recommend the most cost effective solution.

 

Q: Will the refinished surface look painted?

A: No. It won't have brush marks or drips. The topcoat material is applied with a spray gun that yields a super-smooth, high gloss finish.

 

Q: What colors do you offer to refinish bathtubs and tile?

A: We offer a variety of colors. Most customers prefer white or almond for their tubs and showers.

 

Q: What about for countertops?

Q: Is there a warranty for the bathtub and other surfaces refinishing?

A: Our refinishing work is guaranteed for a period of 5 years against any failure of adhesion. A written warranty is provided on completion of every job with all the specifications and guidelines.

 

Q: Can you add a non-skid component to my bathtub?

A: Yes, we can add the non-skid for an extra charge.

 

Q: Will I be able to use a bath mat with my newly refinished bathtub?

A: NO, you will not be able to use bath mats on refinished bathtubs. But we do have a bath mat specially designed for refinished tubs as well as regular tubs. Call and ask about price and installation.

 

Q: What is the best way to clean a refinished bathtub?

A: Do not use any abrasive cleaners. You can easily clean it with soap and water, or these recommended cleaners:
